Zaira R. Palmieri

Zaira, the daughter of Francisco and Mercedes Gioccoli, was born September 3, 1934 in Caracas, Venezuela and passed away peacefully after battling an illness on Sunday, June 22, 2014 in San Pedro, California. She came to North America and became a U.S. citizen in the early 50's. Zaira is survived by her four children, Danielle Palmieri, Peggy Palmieri, Rosetta (John) La forest and Albert "Luigi" Palmieri; four beautiful grandchildren, Tiffany, Maxwell, Luke and Spencer, other relatives and many friends. A special thanks to Little Sister of The Poor, especially the staff who took such wonderful care of our mother. Visitation will be Thursday, June 26th from 3:00 – 8:00 PM in the Green Hills Mortuary in Rancho Palos Verdes. The Celebration of Life Service will be held at Little Sisters of The Poor in San Pedro on Friday, June 27th at 11:00 AM.
