Yuk Jin Lee

Yuk Jin Lee, beloved mother, grandmother ("PoPo"), and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday morning, September 27, 2019. She was 96 years old. Born in China, she came to the United States in 1957, and was a resident of Gardena and Torrance for nearly 60 years. Yuk Jin was predeceased by her husband Kay Fong Lee, daughter Lucy Schmitz, and sons-in-law, Spencer Joe and Ronald Fukushima. She is survived by her children - Shirley (Keith) Tanaka, Gwen Joe, Cheri (David) Quayle, Teri Fukushima, Joseph, Bessie (Michael) Williams, and her son-in-law David Schmitz. PoPo will be dearly missed by her fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandson.

A Celebration of Life is planned for Sunday, October 13, 2019, and private burial on Monday, October 14.
