Yet Kam Wong

Our beloved mother Yet Kam Chow Wong entered into eternal peace peacefully at home in Los Angeles on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at the age of 97.

Yet Kam is predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hin Soo Jew, her beloved husband of 61 years, the late Kay SunKou Wong, and beloved daughter Wai-Ching and (Eddie) Goon of Boston, Massachusetts.
Yet Kam Wong’s loving memories will be cherished by her; loving brother Eddie (Katherine) Jue; devoted sons Tommy and William (Carrie) Wong; devoted daughters De Qing Feng and Jeannie Wong; and loving grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and other relatives.

Yet Kam Wong was born in Guang Dong, China in 1923. She was an elementary school teacher after the family moved to Hong Kong when the war was over. She immigrated to the United States of America with her family in 1967 and became an U.S. citizen in 1978.

Yet Kam Wong enjoyed raising her children and grandchildren, cooking, watching movies, attending church, singing in church choir and spending time with her family.

The funeral service will be held at Green Hills Memorial Chapel on June 9, at 11:00 am, at 27501 S. Western Ave. Rancho Palos Verdes, Ca. 90275. Interment to follow at Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
