Yep H Wong

Dr. Yep H. Wong passed away on April 18, 2024 at the age of 98. A graduate of Loyola High School and Loyola University in Los Angeles, and Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., Dr. Wong completed his internship and residency in General Practice at Los Angeles County Hospital. Dr. Wong practiced family medicine for more than 60 years before retiring in 2013. During his career he was affiliated with Viewpark Community Hospital, where he was President of the Medical Staff; Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital, where he served as Chairman of the Family Practice Section; and Centinela Hospital. A member of the Japanese American Medical Association, he was married to Hanna Sakamoto Wong, who died in 2009. Survivors include his daughter, Yvette.
