Yaye Karasawa

Funeral services for the late Yaye Karasawa, a 91 year old, Los Angeles California-born, resident of Palos Verdes Estates, who passed away on May 21, 2025, will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 11:20am at Green Hills memorial Park Chapel, 27501 S. western Ave RPV with Rev Gary Oba of West Los Angeles United Methodist Church officiating.

She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas Masato Karasawa; relatives, Tadayuki, Taro, Danny, and Hitoshi Maruomoto of California.

She is survived by her children, Chiemi (Sam Nichols) Karasawa of N.Y and Joel Kesao Karasawa of Hawaii; grandchildren, Kahili Yaye Karasawa of Calif. and Eliot Ian Nichols of N.C; also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, and other relatives in Calif., Color., Mich, and Japan.
