Born March 16, 1926 in Lomita, CA. The Gardena resident passed away on June 13, 2011. He was 85 years old. He is survived by his sisters Hatsumi Matsuhira and Harue Suzuki; his three children Shirley Rehmani, Marian Takamura, and Rex Takenouchi; his son-in-law Walter Takamura; grandchildren Kurtis and Emily Takamura; also niece, nephews, and many relatives from Japan. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 11 am at Green Hills Memorial Chapel, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes.
