Y. Marie Tindel

Y. Marie Tindel, the daughter of Merritt and Varra Stokoe, passed away on August 12, 2014 at the age of 84. She was born on June 11, 1930 in Bristol, Connecticut, and had been a life long resident of the South Bay area. Marie worked at the South Bay Hospital for over 30 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Tommy; son, Michael, and brother, Dean Lewis. She is survived by her daughters, Terri (Diane) Maxted, Linda (Brad) Auerbach, sister in-law, Linda Hunt, as well as four grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 10 am – 11 am, Tuesday, August 19, 2014, followed by a graveside service at 12 noon. She touched the hearts of all and will be greatly missed.
