Wing Fan Tieng

Wing Fan Cheung Tieng, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and Friend, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025. Although only 87 at the time of her passing, she lived a full life of laughter and love.

Born and raised in Guangzhou, China, "Winnie" met the love of her life and husband of nearly 65 years, Joe Leung Tieng, in Hong Kong. They married there in 1960, and she moved to the US in 1961.

She would live in New York, Seattle, back to New York, Taipei, back to New York, and Los Angeles. She loved her family, mahjong, sudoku, Asian dramas and eating great food.

She is survived by her husband, daughter (Ann), son (Sherman), grandchildren (Nicholas, Jasmine, Danielle, Kyla, Krizalyn and Melissa), and brother (Shiu Ming).

Her memorial will take place at the Chapel at Green Hills Mortuary, 27501 South Western Avenue, Rancho Palos Verdes, at 9 a.m., on April 5, 2025. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
