Willie was born in Harbor City California on December 27, 1961 and lost his courageous battle to ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) on November 30, 2015. Willie was predeceased by his parents Santiago and Calixtra Guimary; siblings, Santiago (Boy), Josey, and Virgie. Willie is survived by his wife Cindy of 30 years; daughters, Kalena (Steven) Shores, Kristy (Daniel) Terrazas, and Katie Guimary; grandchildren, Ryan Montes, Leilani Shores, and KaliRae Terrazas; siblings, Andy, Robert, Romy, and Connie. Willie was beloved by his mother and father in-law Tony and Hope Esquivel; in-laws, Anthony and Marina Esquivel, Kathy and Paul Reyes, and Nancy and Skip Patrick. Willie had numerous nieces, nephews, god-children, and friends who loved him dearly. Willie was a Longshoreman for the ILWU Local 13. Prior to being a Longshoreman he worked at Smart & Final. Willie's greatest love was his family, grandkids, and softball. He played for many teams and always wore the number 20. Willie was a terrific husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed immensely. "Vaya Con Dios, Willie" – Until we meet again. A special thanks to Dr. Scott Miller and the ALS Clinic at Kaiser Harbor City; caregivers, Kimmy Collins, Carla Lopez, and Faviola Ramos; his "Wednesday Friends", Tony Guzman, and Robert Rivas.
