William Salcido, Sr.

William "Memo" Salcido Sr. passed away peacefully at home on November 4, 2012. Memo was born on October 28, 1940 to Jose and Jesus Salcido. He was a lifelong resident of Wilmington and a retired Marine Clerk with ILWU Local 63 after 50 years. Memo enjoyed hunting, playing golf, and being with his family. He is survived by his sisters; Esther Rangel and Lucy Ortiz; his four children, William Salcido Jr., Monique Soto, Gina (Gilbert) Wu, and Marc (Annie) Salcido; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The memorial service will be on Friday, November 9, 1:00 p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes.
