William Edward Moyer

Forever in Our Memories –

William "Bill" Edward Moyer, 72, of Ranch Palos Verdes, California, passed away, Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at his home.

William was born February 8, 1943 in Los Angeles, California to Floyd and Lillian Moyer. He graduated from St. Monica's High School in 1961. He was enlisted in the Air National Guard from 1964 to 1971, and worked his way to the ranking of Master Sergeant. William was employed as an Aerospace Technician at TRW inc. for 34 years. His passion in life was traveling, from local trips to journeys around the world. He also enjoyed collecting and researching coins, stamps, guns and automobiles. On a normal day he could be found listing to music, reading the paper and spending time with his dogs. William was always there to help his family and friends with whatever they needed him for.
William is survived by his wife, Marilyn Moyer, his four children, Timothy William Moyer and his wife Laura, Michael Patrick Moyer, Jann Mariel Lopez and Jiedrix Mitch Lopez. He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Lillian, his Brother Donald and Sister Linda.

Visitation will take place from 3:00 until 8:00 pm at Green Hills Mortuary Cove Suite Friday, April 3. A Celebration Service of his Life will take place at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes on Saturday, April 4 at 9 am. There will also be a lunch to follow at The Red Onion, located in Rolling Hills Estates.
