William R. Hundt

Our family sadly announces the passing of William (Bill) Hundt on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. Bill passed away peacefully with family by his side at his home in Corona, California.

Bill was born on September 30, 1929 in Gainesville, Texas to Edward F. and Charlie M. Hundt. He spent his early years living on a farm until the family moved to California in 1942. He joined the Air Force in 1948 and served during the Korean conflict. He married Christine Trimmer in 1953 and later had two children.

Bill owned and operated an automotive repair business. He was a self-taught do-it-yourself guy who could do just about anything, from remodeling, building furniture, landscaping, and anything else he set his mind to.

Bill is survived by his wife of 69 years, Christine, his daughter Cheryl and his son Kenny, his brother Ed (Marilyn), and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Green Hills on Wednesday, September 7, from 9:00 to 11:30 followed by a graveside service.
