Walter "BUD" H. Gage

Bud passed away peacefully at the age of 99. He grew up in Buena Park and moved to a budding Hermosa Beach in his teens where he eventually settled down with his wife Ruth (deceased). Bud started working at the age of 17 at Douglas Aircraft Company where as a supervisor he oversaw the assembly of their aircraft and retired after 40 years with the company.

Bud loved the outdoors and was an avid competitive sailor, most often competing out of Newport. When the family moved to Rolling Hills in the early 60's, Bud and Ruth established one of the earliest memberships at Rolling Hills Country Club where they enjoyed the company of many friends. They were also very active with their children who participated in horseshows.

Bud is survived by his children and grandchildren: daughters Pamela Morton, Kelly Gage (Dennis Jaconi), sons, Paul, Matt and Robert (Lauren), grandchildren, Scott Ayakatubby (Anastasia), Cameron Stevenson (Parker)
