Vivencia Callo Casillan, 97, departed this life suddenly on Friday, September 16, 2022 in San Pedro, CA. Bing was born in Manila, Philippines on August 7, 1925. As a young woman, she emigrated to the United States with her husband, Niceas "Nick" Casillan. Upon Nick's retirement from the U.S. Navy, they settled in the South Bay area where their children grew up. A nurse, Bing worked at Kaiser Permanente South Bay for more than 30 years. She was a longtime member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Lomita. Bing was predeceased by her parents, siblings, and spouses, Niceas (1993); Edwin Clark (2002) and Jose Smith (2011). She is survived by her devoted dog "B"; her beloved children, Daniel, Ray (Jodi), Iris, Niceas Jr. (Patricia), Vincent (Sheila) and Marie; 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, cherished niece, Mila (Dave) and grand nieces, grand nephews and cousins. Bing will be sorely missed by all who knew her, and long remembered for her vivacious personality, love of family, entertaining, travel, fashion and jewelry. Services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
