Virginia S. Shimizu

July 19, 1928 — July 24, 2011

Virginia "Peachie" Shimizu passed away on July 24, 2011 at the age of 83. She was born July 19, 1928 in Calexico, California and had been a longtime resident of San Pedro. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Kevin McDermott) Machado, Sherry (George) Calatrello, and Billie Jean (Richard) Rodriguez. Virginia is also survived by her twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
