It is with great sadness that the family of Virginia (Ginny) Huddleston announces her passing at the age of 97. She will be truly missed by all those that loved her.

Ginny was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from Hoover High School in 1938 and Occidental College in 1944. After graduation she began her career as a teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District. She taught Physical Education at Banning High School until they opened Carson High School where she taught until her retirement in 1982.

Ginny was loved by everyone who knew her; she had a huge heart and was kind, caring and very generous, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. She loved the outdoors and was an avid golfer, if she wasn’t golfing during the summer she was riding bikes at the beach or spending time taking her grandchildren to all of their activities.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years John J. She is survived by her daughter Peggy and Son-in Law Bob. Her granddaughter Kelly (Lino) Salazar and grandson Eric (Jenny) Castellanos. She is also survived by her Sister-in-Laws Stella and Mary along with many nieces and nephews.
