Virginia Leigh Fairbanks

May 10, 1920 — October 3, 2013

Virginia passed away peacefully on October 3rd. She was born in Los Angeles and moved to Palos Verdes Estates in 1954 where she lived out the rest of her life. She is survived by her loving family; sons, Richard Fairbanks and Dan Fairbanks, daughter, Debra Ashenfelter; grandchildren, Tom, Stephanie, Amy and Molly; great grandchildren, Mia, Reese, Carson, Emmerson, Isabella, Charlotte and Max. Virginia lived life to it's fullest and enjoyed traveling with her beloved late husband, Richard. She had many friends and belonged to many charitable organizations. She also enjoyed golfing as a pastime and was surprised when she won the President's Cup Tournament at Palos Verdes Country Club in the 70's. Virginia will be missed by all who knew her and remembered for her vivacious personality and ability to be everyone's biggest cheerleader! A celebration of life memorial service will be announced at a later date.
