Violet V. Fellows

Known to friends and family as Vi, left this world on August 27, 2012, to be with our Heavenly Father. She was born to Bertha and August Buechler, in Golden Valley, North Dakota, on February 17, 1937. She was the youngest sibling to four brothers and a sister. After the passing of both parents at a very young age, she was adopted and raised by her brother Art, and her aunt Laura, right alongside her cousin Gary, in Montana. She was a very loving and attentive grandmother, mother and wife of 55 years. She worked part time as a Teacher's Aide for LAUSD for several years, but always felt her main calling was to serve her Lord and raise her family. She was preceded in death by her sister Edna Buechler; brothers, Delson, Arthur, Edwin and John Buechler; her daughter Cheryl Ann Melvin, and her husband, John C. Fellows Jr. She is survived by her dog Noni, her son Mark Fellows, daughter Sandra Fellows, daughter and husband, Kelly & James Patterson, son-in-law Thomas Melvin, 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren & 3 on the way. She was a loving Aunt and a True Friend, with a very kind and gentle soul that was loved by many and will be missed dearly by all.
