Vincenza Cracchiolo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of our beloved mother, wife, grandmother and sister Vincenza Cracchiolo. Vincenza passed away at her home in San Pedro on Sunday, January 20 surrounded by her family. She was 91 years of age. Vincenza was born on May 5, 1927 in Trappeto, Italy to Grazia and Filippo Vitale. She married the love of her life, Giuseppe Cracchiolo in 1953 and they had three children; Pietro, Giovanni and Caterina. Her and her family immigrated from Italy to San Pedro in 1968 where she worked in the cannery for six years.

Vincenza is survived by her two sons, Pietro (Melody) and Giovanni (Rosanna) Cracchiolo. Her daughter-in-law, Laura Cracchiolo and son-in-law, Josè Peña. She leaves behind her six grandchildren; Angelina, Joseph (April), Sandra, Annalisa, Anthony, and Daniel; her four great-grandsons; Christian, Corey, Damien and Alonzo and her five siblings; Rosa, Salvatore, Rosalia, Giovanna and Giuseppe. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

Vincenza is preceded in death by her husband, Giuseppe, her daughter, Caterina Peña and sister, Crocifissa.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 28, from 4-8 pm at Green Hills Mortuary. With a funeral service, Tuesday, January 29 at 11:30 am at the Memorial Chapel at Green Hills Mortuary.
