Victor J. Ortiz Sr.

Victor, the son of Marcos and Julia Ortiz was born March 6, 1930 in Kingman, Kansas and passed away peacefully on August 22, 2012 in Torrance, California with his family by his side. Victor is survived by Rosalia, the love of his life and wife of 58 years; his three children, Christina and husband, William Robbins, Victor Jr. and wife, Poksu Ortiz, Cecelia and husband, Albert Abaoag; seven grandchildren, Robert Ross Jr., Diette Sotelo, Reena Hackett, Victoria and Lauren Robbins, Jacob and Joseph Abaoag; eight great-grandchildren, Naomi, Robert, William, Antonio, Adam, Christopher, Mikayla and Miranda other relatives and close friends. Visitation for Mr. Victor J. Ortiz Sr. will be Tuesday, August 28th from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Green Hills Mortuary in Ranch Palos Verdes. The Vigil will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 29th and the Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Both services will be at St. Margaret Mary. Interment is at Green Hills Memorial Park immediately following the Mass. Family and friends will gather for a reception after the interment at the church.
