Victor "Vic" John Matisevich

Victor “Vic” John Matisevich passed away on July 27, 2018. He was a lifetime resident of San Pedro and loved the South Bay very much. Vic helped many people in his life and was known for being a very loving, kind and giving man. Vic served proudly during World War II and survived the Battle of the Bulge. He later worked for the San Pedro Post office for 35 years. The always avid Tennis player was a member of The Peck Park Senior Tennis Club and played as often as he could until he was 85 years old.
Vic leaves behind his loving wife of 67 years, Mary Matisevich, nephews, Andy (Carlyn) Kowalsky, John (Lorene) Kowalsky, Jim (Patty) Nelson, nieces, Marianne (Richard) Dunne, Debbie Hanson, Martha (Donald) Crabill and Sheryl (Tim) Archer along with many wonderful neighbors whom we cannot thank enough for their kindness and love and support.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Green Hills Memorial Park.
