Vera J. Yurak

Vera Josephine Yurak was born February 17, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois, and passed away peacefully on March 11, 2015. Of Croatian descent, Vera spent her childhood in Split, Croatia, returning to San Pedro in her teens. For over 20 years she worked as a Pricing Analyst Manager at TRW in Manhattan Beach. She was a sublimely intelligent, fiercely loyal, independent, world traveler who had touched many lives with her loving spirit, humor and graceful nature. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hervey Yurak, and is cherished by her daughters Melanie Ziegler and Lana Cvitanovich, "OMI" to grandchildren Natalie and Melissa Cvitanovich, Nicholas and AJ Ziegler. She is also survived by sister Sylvia Martins, sister-in-law Maria Jurak, nephews Hervey Jurak, Eddie Jurak, nieces Renata Surjak and Helen Padovan, as well as numerous grand nieces, nephews and dearly loved Marich family relatives.

Services will be held at 3:00 on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Green Hills Mortuary and Memorial Park Chapel located at 27501 S. Western Avenue, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275.
