Timothy Wayne Thomas

Timothy Wayne Thomas, the son of Nicholas and Bessie Thomas, passed away peacefully at home on July 15, 2013 at the age of 65. He was born on July 20, 1947 in Los Angeles. Tim, with his family has been a long time resident of Torrance, California. Tim is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Jeanine; son, Craig (Marjie); son, Ted (Ruth), daughter Sherry; and grandchildren, Luke and Hannah, and Vanessa (Cliff, and son Wyatt), Jonathan (Debbie) and his brother Nick. Tim worked for Hughes/Raytheon for 37 years before he retired at age 55. He was an active member of the Compton Hunting and Fishing Club. He was a real outdoorsman. Tim enjoyed spending time golfing, fishing, hunting, swap-meeting, and most of all at home with his family. Tim will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Visitation service is Friday, July 19, 2013 at Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in RPV, from 3:00pm-8:00pm in the main chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Calvary Chapel South Bay, 19300 S Vermont Ave in Torrance at 11:00 am followed by a burial at Green Hills Memorial Park.
