Survived by his wife, Aura Belen Hicks-Gutierrez, brother Stephen Pearlman Hicks, and his father, Dr. Pearlman David Hicks, stepmother, Maria Elena Hicks, stepbrother, Sebastian Potes, stepsisters, Michelle Martinez and Carolina Hicks, and niece, Sofia Ochoa. Preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Lynn Hicks. Born in Boston. Raised on the Palos Verdes peninsula in Los Angeles. A Deans List graduate of UCSB. Tim was larger than life. Adventurous, big hearted, and exceptionally creative. He was a pioneer in the world of full dome, immersive video art. He traveled the world and everywhere he went he was always true to himself. A skater, a surfer, an artist, a director. Tim was a beloved son, brother, husband, and friend who will be dearly missed by all those that got the chance to know him and his classic soul.
A memorial service for Timothy will be held at Green Hills Memorial Chapel on Monday November 21st at 11:30am.
