Thomas Satoru Ohara, 90, resident of Gardena, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2015. Survived by his beloved wife, Bette (Fujimoto); sons, Tom Ohara Jr., Ron Ohara, Michael Ohara; daughters, Wanda Maldonado, Debbie Sur, and Jayne Ohara; grandchildren Marie Dunnewold, Stephanie Sur, Christopher (Lauryn) Tanabe, Melissa Ohara, and Megan Ohara; great-grandchildren Ian Dunnewold, Lucas Dunnewold, Maiya Dunnewold, and Kanen Tanabe; brothers Kiyogi (Haru) Ohara, and Roy Ohara; sisters Himeko Mimura, Michiko (Bill) Kita, Yuriko (Bob) Scranton, and Hideko Baker; Uncle, Great-Uncle, and Great-Great-Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA
