Thomas E. Gullett

Thomas E. Gullett, age 81, died on Monday February 13th at his home in San Pedro. He was born July 19th, 1935 in Peoria, Illinois. He grew up in Tampa, Florida with his two younger brothers John and Allen Gullett. In 1952 he enlisted in the Air Force and later earned the rank of Captain. Tom served our country in Vietnam and received an honorable discharge from the Air Force in 1961. After his time in the service he became a commercial airline pilot for Continental Airlines and flew for many years. Following his career as a pilot he returned to school earning his Doctorate in Psychology.
Tom lived in San Pedro for more than 40 years and was a well respected Psychologist in the community. He loved his South Shores community and living near the ocean. Some of his hobbies included reading, smoking cigars and adding to his extensive book collection. He also enjoyed travel and painting. He is survived by his two children Eric Gullett and Tamra McIntire as well as three grandchildren Jake, Cassidy, and Lauren McIntire. There will be a celebration of life service at the Green Hills Memorial Chapel on March 18th at 2pm.
