Theresa Marabella

On Saturday, May 17, 1930, Theresa Rose Cenatiempo was born in Brooklyn, New York to Salvatore and Louisa Cenatiempo, originally from Ischia, Italy. Theresa had seven siblings: Neil, Madelyn, Philly, Rosie, Belmont, Gloria, and Stephen. When Theresa was around 16, her father brought their family to California where Theresa worked at their family diner. She later worked at the fish cannery. On June 23, 1951, she married Tony Marabella. They bought a new home in Wilmington where they still reside. They had three sons, Charlie, David, and Stephen. Theresa was a typical Italian wife, mother, and nonna who took pride in taking care of her family. She always had delicious meals on the table, a spotless home, and worked with Tony at their family winery, Marabella Vineyard Company in San Pedro. Theresa is also survived by her seven grandchildren: Cindy, Christina, Matthew, Anthony, Megan, Sammy, and Stevie, as well as four great-grandchildren: Kalyn, Mila, Siena, and Kash. “Fino a quandary ci incontriamo di Nuovo”......until we meet again!
