Theodore is preceded in death by his sons; Theodore Roy Kaake Jr., Mitchell James Kaake, life partner; Helen Usrey, former wife; Joan Novacovich, and sister; Mabel Stame. He is survived by his beloved family, children; Christy (Roland) Perkins, Mark Kaake, Melissa Aguilar, Daniel Kaake, daughter-in-law; Maryrose Goodwin, grandchildren; Teddy John Kaake, Mitchell James Kaake Jr., Mark William Kaake Jr., Lorene Berryman, Nathaniel Aguilar, Susie Countryman, David Countryman, Shellie Savin, 15 great-grandchildren and brother, Lee Kaake.
