Thelma Anne "Penny" McHugh

Our beloved sister, Penny McHugh passed away peacefully at the age of 76 on May 23, 2015. She has now joined her parents Charles and Thelma McHugh and sister Judith. Penny was born in Massachusetts as the eldest of four daughters. After the McHugh family relocated to Los Angeles in 1942, Penny attended local schools and graduated from UCLA with a B.A. degree in English. Penny devoted much of her life to family matters eventually assuming full-time responsibility as caregiver to her parents. She loved to travel with her favorite destinations being Ireland and Boston. Penny was a kind hearted and generous person. She was a beloved aunt to her niece and nephews, and a beloved "Grantie" to her grand nephews and grand nieces. Penny is survived by her sisters Louise Morgan and Deborah McHugh, and brother-in-law Glyn Morgan.
