Teru Miyahira passed away peacefully on January 19, 2012 at the age of 80. He was born on May 5, 1931 in Kauai, Hawaii and had been a longtime resident of Carson, California. Teru is survived by his beloved wife; Perlita Miyahira, daughter; Teri Miyahira and brother; Masami Miyahira.
