Teresa Pilato

Teresa Pilato passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of Friday, March 21, 2014. Born to Tony and Maryanne Galante in Ischia, Italy on July 13, 1934, she came to America in 1951 and subsequently married Antonio "Medican" Pilato in San Pedro, in 1952, where they raised their 5 children. Preceded in death by her husband, Teresa is survived by her loving children: Anthony Pilato, Salvatore (Kay) Pilato, Frank Pilato, Lucyann (John) Gilbert and Angela (Ozzie) Carmona, along with grandchildren: Mark Valdez, Alisha Pilato, Sophia (Sean) Yorty, Krystal Fowler, Christopher Pilato , Ryan Pilato and Aaron Gilbertson. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and "Little," her four legged grandchild.

Viewing will be on Wednesday, 2pm-5pm in Green Hills Mortuary and 6pm-8pm in Green Hills Memorial Chapel with a rosary service at 7pm.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 27, 2014, 10:30am at Mary Star of the Sea Church in San Pedro with burial to follow in Green Hills Memorial Park.
