Teodoro 'Ted' Guzman, 79, of Torrance, CA, passed away October 20, 2014 at Harbor Care Nursing Home.
Ted was born May 25, 1935, in Tarlac, Philippines.
He graduated from Manuel L Quezon University with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
He immigrated to the United States with his wife and son in January 1972, living in New York City before finally settling in Torrance, California in June 1973.
He enjoyed a successful career as a Project Engineer in the Electronics Industry for over 25 years.
He and his wife Dolores enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Las Vegas. During his retirement Ted enjoyed reading, gardening, babysitting his granddaughters and playing the occasional game of poker.
He is survived by his wife, Dolly Guzman of Torrance, son and daughter-in-law Bert & Rodeta Guzman, and granddaughters Genny and Gabby Guzman, also from Torrance, and sister Rexy Tamayo from Florida.
