Ted M. Brox, the son of Adolph and Dorothy Brox passed away on November 30, 2014 at the age of 92. He was born in Utah on July 1, 1922, and as his father would say for years, "he looked like a little sparrow". Growing up in Salt Lake City, Ted played the trumpet in his father's band, The Adolph Brox Orchestra, through high school and college and continued his love for music throughout his life. When World War 2 broke out, he enlisted in the Navy, became a Navy Dentist through the University of Southern California, and was stationed in the Phillipines for the remainder of the war as a Lieutenant. After the war, Ted practiced Dentistry in the South Bay for over 40 years, and was a resident of Palos Verdes Estates in the Malaga Cove area for over 60 years. Ted was a very generous man, always did what was expected of him, and would always be there for friends and family in times of need, and was a great provider for his family. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor in and out of his Dental Office . Being a graduate from the University of Southern California, he became an avid fan of USC Football , and followed the Trojans for over 50 years. Ted had a blessed life, did what he wanted, when he wanted, how he wanted, and made a huge contribution to the people around him. He is survived by his children Terry (Terry) Brox, Susan (Tim) Zamperini, and 5 grandchildren; Ted, Erin, Josh, Cory, and Travis. Funeral Services will be held at 11am Monday December 15th at Green Hills Memorial Chapel, Rancho Palos Verdes. He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Shirlee Farr, the love of his life, who passed away 5 years prior. Ted and his infectious laugh will be greatly missed. We Love You Ted!
