NOMURA, Tamotsu "Babe"
Babe, 87, passed away from complications resulting from surgery on Nov. 13. Wife Kim, son Jon (Kathy), daughter Janet (Jack) Morey were by his side.
Babe, a talented multi-sport athlete, was a grid iron star at Hollywood HS and Heart Mountain Relocation Camp. His collegiate career earned him All-Conference "triple-threat" halfback (LACC), Honorable Mention on AP All-Coast Eleven, 1946 (San Jose State), and an invite to try out for the NY Giants pro team.
