Sumiyo Kawaguchi
December 4, 1938 — September 11, 2015
Sumiyo A. Kawaguchi, the eldest daughter of Kenichiro and Shin Akiyama of Shizuoka, Japan, passed away Sept 11, at the age of 76. Sumiyo was a long time resident of West Los Angeles.
She is survived by her children, Ronald Akio, and Shirley (Shuji) Yamada, grandson, Joey Takeshi, brother, Kensuke (Masaye) Akiyama, sister Motoko (Masaru) Hattori, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives in Japan.
A private family service will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park on Oct. 9
