Stuart H Penick

Stuart Penick passed away December29th 2020. He was 81 years old. He was born September 13th 1939 in Queens,New York. At the age of two, his family moved to San Pedro, CA. Stuart attended San Pedro High school and graduated summer 1957. He was a commercial fisherman ,on many different fishing boats. He also worked at Shell chemical. Stuart purchased Harbor Village Liquor (in San Pedro) at age 26 ,which started his career. After selling the liquor store, he went to work for Heublein Distillers where he worked hard to make it up the ladder. After 35 years with the company, he decided it was time to retire. He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren's sporting events. He rarely missed a game! Stuart also enjoyed traveling and seeing the world locally and abroad. He is survived by his daughter Darcie (Steve) Gonzalez, son Michael Penick , Grandchildren Ryan(Ayaka) Gonzalez, Ashley Gonzalez. Brother Bill Penick,Sister Barbara Lukin, Nephews and Nieces Gant (shelly) Penick, Michelle Penick, Robbie(Jamie) Lukin, Marie DiCola-Meyer (Jason) and Great Nephews and Nieces. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Heart Association. Due to the pandemic, a private service will be held for the family at a later date.
