Obituary for Stella Luisa Quintana
Stella Luisa Quintana, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2025, at the age of 79. A strong, loving, and vibrant woman, Stella touched the lives of everyone who knew her with her warmth, generosity, and unshakable spirit.
Born in Long Beach, on May 13, 1946, Stella lived a life rooted in love, family, and purpose. She was a passionate gardener, and her orchids—her pride and joy—bloomed under the same care and attention she gave to the people in her life. Stella had a gift for nurturing, whether it was her plants, her children, or her relationships. Her home was always filled with beauty, life, and laughter.
Stella married Estevan Roberto Quintana, and together they raised a close-knit family grounded in loyalty and strength. She is survived by her husband, Steve, and her children Steven, Manuel, Roxanna, and Beth. She was a proud grandmother to Justin, Shyenne, Maizzy, and Ashton, who brought immense joy to her heart.
She was known for her long, meaningful conversations, her delicious holiday meals, and her unwavering support for her family and friends. Stella had a fierce spirit, a deep well of wisdom, and a heart that loved without condition. She taught her children to speak their minds, to stay strong, and to always lead with love even in the face of differences.
Her favorite color was red, a reflection of her bold personality and the love she carried in everything she did.
Though Stella has left this physical world, her presence lives on in the many lives she touched, in the memories she created, and in the blooming gardens she loved so dearly. Her legacy is one of strength, love, and grace.
Services will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275. All who loved her are welcome to attend and celebrate the beautiful life she lived.
