Silvio Alvarez, the son of Emilio and Herminia Alvarez, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2014 at the age of 86. He was born on November 3, 1927 in Santa Clara, Cuba and had been a long time resident of Carson.
Silvio is survived by his beloved wife, Herminia Alvarez, his daughter, Gipsy (Carlos) Baladad and 3 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 from 3 - 8pm at Green Hills Mortuary- Villetta Room with a Chapel Service on Wednesday, January 22 at 1pm at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
