Silvia Elena Ortiz, born December 25, 1954, in Lima, Peru, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Silvia’s life was a testament to love, hard work, and resilience, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The fourth of seven sisters and four brothers, Silvia was the cherished daughter of Manuel and Hilda Rivadeneyra. Growing up in Lima, she embraced the warmth and vibrancy of her large family, values she carried throughout her life.
On January 18, 1975, Silvia married the love of her life, Luis Ortiz. Together, they welcomed their only daughter, Monica, on June 29, 1975. In 1990, Silvia and her family moved to the United States, where she pursued her dreams with determination and founded Silvia’s Housekeeping, a successful cleaning business. Through her work, she built lasting relationships with her clients, many of whom became lifelong friends.
Silvia was deeply loved for her kindness, strength, and unwavering dedication to her family. She found immense joy in her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her devoted husband, Luis; her daughter, Monica; and her two grandchildren, Jessica and Kasey, who were the light of her life.
Silvia truly lived life to the fullest. Whether she was chatting with friends and family, traveling the world, dancing, laughing, or spending precious time with her beloved granddaughters, she embraced every moment with joy and passion.
