Shiuzo "Shu" Kitahata

Shiuzo "Shu" M. Kitahata, Artesia-born Torrance resident, youngest child of Tsunajiro and Ei Kitahata, died February 11, 2012. He is survived by his wife Naoye "Helen", children Stacy D. Kitahata (Diakonda Gurning) of Seattle, Thomas D. Kitahata (Cheryl) of Thousand Oaks, Lori J. Kitahata of Torrance, Lisa J. Gularian (Jacob) of West Hills and grandchildren Grant, Lia and Bryce Kitahata and Alaina Gularian, sister Hisako "Suddie" Okamoto, sisters-in-law Kay and Reiko, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by brothers William Tadao, Shigeru and Harry Hiroji. Visitation will be Thursday, February 16th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. The Funeral is Saturday, February 18th at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 2706 West 182nd Street, Torrance 90504 with interment immediately following at Green Hills.
