Sherry Ann Brehm

April 17, 1951 — October 30, 2022

Ms. Sherry Ann Brehm ( Aunt Chewy) amongst a few other nick names like Share Bear was what made her imagination so playful. It is with deep regret to announce the passing of such a caring and wonderful person. As of 10/30/2022 at 11:57 AM, Sherry Ann Brehm went home to the Lord Jesus Christ, so that she may forever rest her soul. She lived to be 71 years old. Sherry is now home with God, her Mother Mrs. Frieda Elsie Brehm, her Father Mr. George Edward Brehm, her sister Mrs. Paula Lee Lang (Brehm), as well as many other family members and friends. Her living Family members consists of 3 Family names that differ from the Brehm lineage. The Ganson's, The Langs and The Williams family. This is in part because Sherry Brehm and Paula Lang (Brehm) were both adopted by Frieda and George Brehm, while the girls were still babies. Sherry never had children, but that does not mean she wasn't part of the children her sister Paula had. Gary Edward Ganson, Lloyd Keith Lang and Victoria Ann Williams were Paula's children. Aunt Sherry as we all know her was always in our lives when others couldn't. She graduated from Hawthorne High School in California, born and raised. She has been "Team Mom" in Baseball, Sherry has been a Mother to us all in one way or another. Sherry also has been in all of our children's lives as well, and even our children's children. Sherry loved crafts, ice skating, roller skating, good music, ballet, loved to garden especially roses, broadway shows, art, and an uncountable amount of shows and movies...and by all means one of the biggest Star Wars fans in the world, literally. Sherry incorporated these very things into most of her families lives especially the generation after her. Sherry worked in Aerospace at Hughes Aircraft for a decade along with her Mother Frieda in El Segundo C.A. when the family moved from Downey to Inglewood (Del Aire C.A.) by LAX Airport, after Frieda and George Brehm became divorcees, Frieda never removed her married last name of Brehm nor was she ever remarried, due to Christian beliefs. 5359 W. 118th Place (ISIS & 118th Pl.) became home to Frieda, Sherry and Paula Brehm (Lang). This home also became home for 4-5 generations to come. Sherry grew up in this home and almost never left! Ultimately Sherry lived with her mother for the majority of her life in Harbor city C.A. as well. After Frieda Brehms passing in 2020, Sherry moved in with her nephew Mr. and Mrs. Gary and Venus Ganson in Riverside California for the remainder of her life. She is survived by Gary and Venus Ganson, Brandon Ganson, Tina Ganson, Taylor Ciano-Ganson, Xochitl Ganson, Ricky Ganson, Romie Ganson, Jaxson Ganson, Lloyd and Melissa Lang, Tyler Lang, Grace Lang, Zack Lang, Nick Lang, Cody Lang, Maelie Lang, Brody Lang, Parker Birkelo-Lang, Victoria Williams and Christopher Williams. Sherrys passing brings an end to the Brehm lineage in our family, but the 3 Brehm women that raised the Ganson's, Lang's and William's families will never be forgotten. We carry this trio in our hearts as we are the Legacy that came from all of them. We are a family of blood, chosen, adopted and planned. May you Rest In Peace Aunt Sherry, we love you.
