Sherrie Lynette Villamor
January 22, 1967 — May 20, 2025
Sherrie Lynette Villamor, born on January 22, 1967 in the Philippines, made her heavenly transition to be with the Lord on May 20, 2025 after a heroic fight against an incurable cancer. 58 years old at the time of her passing, she was surrounded by many loving family members and her deep faith in God.
Sherrie was a proud graduate of Our Lady of Grace Academy, Batch of 1983, and received her Electrical Engineering degree from Mapua Institute of Technology in 1988 in the Philippines. In 1989 she moved to the United States where she embarked on the path to a very successful career in the Aerospace Industry working for Raytheon Company and eventually Boeing Aerospace where she was a prominent Senior Supplier Program Manager before her retirement in 2020.
Sherrie was known to be a loving and caring mother and wife who stressed the importance of education, strong faith, a deep spiritual devotion, and love of God. She found great joy in life's simple pleasures such as Gardening and would readily share the abundance of her harvests with family,friends and neighbors. She also enjoyed Hiking, Walks along the Beach and many other outdoor activities.
Sherrie leaves behind a cherished family that includes her Husband, Clifford Johnson, her son Alexander Gasper, former Husband, Paul Gasper, her Mother Lourdes Villamor, Father Ramon Villamor (deceased), Brothers Edgar (deceased), Nelson, Jesse, Jerry, Ramon, Danilo and Cornelio, as well as Sisters-In-Law, Aunts, Uncles,Nieces and Nephews, both in the Philippines and the United States.
A Memorial Service will take place on June 14, 2025 from 2:00PM - 3:00PM at Green Hills Memorial Chapel located at 27501 S. Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275. It will also be live streamed for friends and family who are unable to attend in person.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sherrie’s name to City of Hope Orange County Lennar Foundation Cancer Center for use in Multiple Myeloma Research. The link is provided below:
