Sherrelyn Javanda Riggs

Sherrelyn Javauda Riggs, a 26-year resident of Buena Park, CA, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, in Buena Park, CA. Born in Long Beach, CA, Sherrelyn was 63 when she died. She was raised in Torrance, CA, where she was graduated from Torrance High School. Sherrelyn was a long-time employee of Volvo Cars of North America. She was an avid reader and was talented in needlepoint and cross-stitch. Sherrelyn was known for her keen sense of humor and infectious laugh, her kind and loyal disposition, and her unfailing generosity. She was a loving daughter, a devoted sister, and an adoring aunt. Sherrelyn is survived by her mother Javauda Riggs of Torrance, CA., her sister Susan (Richard) Keavney of Torrance, CA, her niece Megan Keavney of Santa Barbara, Ca., and her uncle Robert Riggs of Springville, Ca . She was preceded in death by her father, Burnal Charles Riggs. A gathering of family and service will be held at Rice Mortuary in Torrance, CA, on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
