Sharon Diane (Tonneson) Van Waardenburg passed away at her home in Lomita on March 4, 2023, surrounded by her family.
Sharon was born in Torrance on October 14, 1956 to Arne and Bonnie Tonneson. A lifelong South Bay resident, she graduated from South High School in 1974.
She was loved by everyone she met and everywhere she worked, especially at her most recent jobs as an Administrative Assistant at Little Company of Mary Hospital, followed by Affiliated Pathologists Medical Group.
She loved everything joyful, including Disney, Christmas decorating, and mostly her family. Even through her battle with cancer, she still had a smile on her face.
She is survived by James - her husband of 46 years, her sons Kevin (Cassie) and Nathan (Sasi), and her grandchildren Jameson, Abbey, Micaela, and Logan.
