Sharon Ann Alexander, age 80, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Sharon was born in Maine and her family moved to California when she was young. She married Ray Alexander at the age of 19. She was a very busy stay-at-home mom to five children. Once the kids were grown, she started and ran her own business, Ray’s Trucking, which she was still running until a few weeks prior to her passing.
She worked hard all her life and was a great business woman, but she also loved to have fun. Sharon loved to spend time in Las Vegas with her family. Her nick-name was “lucky lady” as she was known to hit at least one royal flush each trip.
Sharon was the matriarch of the family and kept everyone together holding family gatherings. Her favorite time was Christmas and if you visited her at that time you couldn’t help but have the Christmas spirit as her home was beautifully decorated.
She loved her family and friends and was kind to everyone. If you knew Sharon, you most likely were the recipient of a greeting card or two. She was generous to all and didn’t meet a cause she didn’t support. Any dog that met her was very lucky as she took care of them with treats and gifts.
Sharon is survived by her sister and brother, five children and their spouses, 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews. She was loved and will be missed by us all.
