Saundra "Sandy" L. Love

Sandy was born October 28, 1943 to Josie and Harold Clover in San Pedro. She passed away March 24th surrounded by family. On December 2, 1961 she married the love of her life, George Love, Jr. They were blessed with 3 wonderful children. Kimberly Love Weston (Randy), George Love III, and Steven Love (Courtney). They then blessed her with six grandchildren; Maxwell Goodman, Hannah Goodman, Claire Goodman, Paige Love, Charlie Love, and Lucy Love. Sandy was active in PTA, Brownies, Girl Scouts, and Eastview Little League. She was known for her culinary skills, gorgeous yard, beautiful home, and great parties. She enjoyed traveling, particularly New York and Boston. She was a fierce liberal and willing to discuss anything if you didn't agree with her. She had the wonderful ability to make people feel special and important. Should her children or grandchildren feel down, all they had to do was call granny. By the time they hung up, they thought that they were the greatest person on Earth. She is survived by her husband of 53 years; daughter Kimberly and Husband Randy; sons George, and Steven and his wife Courtney; her six grandchildren; cousin Michael Morgan; brothers in law Robert Love and Marvin Love (Diane); sisters in law Jorga Mazzella (Mike) and Laurie Wixted; mother in law Geri Love; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Green Hills Memorial Chapel Saturday, March 28th at 1pm, followed by interment.
