Loving wife, mother, grandmother sister and aunt, born in Hollywood, CA to John and Ethel Marie Sukeena on March 10, 1947 passed to be with the Lord after a two decade battle with cancer on September 25, 2012 at the age of 65. Sandra worked as a clerk at Bandini Street Elementary School for 16 years. She loved her job and all the children she met during her time there. Sandra loved her family and friends dearly and she always gave of herself to others even at her most difficult times. Her love and strong faith in God helped her defy the odds for the last ten years of her life. She enjoyed gardening and housekeeping, scrapbooking, taking care of all of God's creatures that came her way, watching her soap opera "Days of Our Lives", watching movies, especially her favorite movie "Sleepless in Seattle", watching Lakers games with her family, crossword puzzles, and spending time with everyone she knew, especially her grandchildren. Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, James "Joe" Noceti; her three children, Nick, Joseph and Lori; her two siblings, Greg Sukeena and John Sukeena; and her three grandchildren, Kaylin Bayek, Lucas Noceti and Drew Noceti; her many nieces and nephews and a number of other relatives and close friends. A mass will be held at Holy Trinity Church located at 1292 W. Santa Cruz Street in San Pedro at 10 am on Wednesday, October 3, 2012. After the mass she will be laid to rest at Green Hills Memorial Park located at 27501 South Western Avenue in Rancho Palos Verdes.
