Sandra S. Felando

The family is saddened to announce the passing of Sandy Felando on the evening of October 29th 2013 from pneumonia. Sandy was born December 4th 1934 in Fort Worth Texas, the first of four children to John Richard and Virginia Campbell Sanford. Sandy attended Redondo Union High School and Graduated from the University of Washington earning a bachelor's degree in Interior Design. Sandra worked in interior design initially for Curt Wagner Interiors, Redondo Beach, later founding Sandra Felando Designs, when she was also President of the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers. Sandy is survived by her son John, sister Suzanne Sanford Allen(Jim, deceased); brother Richard Sanford (Thekla); brother Henry Sanford (Ligia).Nephews Bill Allen (Susie); Tom Allen (Debbie); Robert Allen (Christine), and niece Blakeney Sanford (Bennett Williams) as well as 7 grand nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 3 - 8pm at Green Hills Mortuary - Villetta Room. Church Service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 11am at St. Francis Episcopal Church 2200 Via Rosa, Palos Verdes Estates, California followed by interment. In lieu of flowers the family request donations in Sandy's name be made to the Saint Francis Episcopal Church operating fund.
