Samuel "Sam" Morrison, 74, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017. Sam was born on April 18, 1942 in Ringold, Louisiana to Robert and Claudia Morrison. He graduated from Booker T. Washington Senior High School in 1961 and worked as a certified Respiratory Therapist for over 40 years.
On November 24, 1967 he married Joan Stewart. On May 21, 1969, they welcomed their beautiful daughter, Simone. Sam was an avid fishermen and skilled golfer. He loved to travel, play basketball, enjoyed listening to music and looked forward to spending time with his family.
Sam is survived by his wife, Joan Morrison; his daughter and son in-law, Simone and Gabriel Temblador; his grandchildren, Ryan, Ashley, Mariah, and Joshua, his brother and sister in-law, Melvin and Ella Morrison, his sister, Ruby Lee; his God children, Shawna and Ray Wright; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
