Salvatore Palma was born in Trapani, Sicily, Italy on September 20, 1957. He passed away peacefully in San Pedro, California on June 12. 2022. Salvatore was a long-time commercial fisherman and worked on the tug boats for over 30 years. He was a loving family man who enjoyed the company of family and friends.
Salvatore is survived by his children Marianna (Miguel) Alcazar, Chris (Tiffanie) Palma, former wife Lina Palma, grandchildren Nathan, Dylan, Nicolette, Neven, Niko, Kiersten and Juliet. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Pinella Palma (Nino), Brother Leonard (Josie) Palma, Sisters Orsola (Vito) Battaglia, Antonette (Carlo) Barraco, and Paula (Giuseppe) Battaglia and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Cristofaro and Marianna Palma, brother Nino Palma, niece Christina Aliotti (Palma) and nephew Vincenzo Battaglia.
A viewing and rosary will be held Monday, June 27, 2022, 6:00-8:30 PM at Green Hills. A funeral mass will be offered Tuesday, June 28, 2022, 11:30 AM at Green Hills with a burial to follow.
